Costa Rica Visa & Tax Information

Costa Rica is a country in southern Central America with San José as its capital, known for Arenal Volcano and the cloud forests of Monteverde. Costa Rica offers a dedicated digital nomad visa for remote workers, and tax residency generally starts after 183 days in a calendar year. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) does not currently advise against travel to Costa Rica.
