Hungary Visa & Tax Information

Hungary is a country in Central Europe with Budapest as its capital, known for thermal baths, Lake Balaton and goulash. Hungary offers a dedicated digital nomad visa for remote workers, and tax residency generally starts after 183 days in a calendar year. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) does not currently advise against travel to Hungary.
