Japan Visa & Tax Information

Japan is a country in East Asia with Tokyo as its capital, known for Mount Fuji, sushi and cherry blossoms. Japan offers a dedicated digital nomad visa for remote workers, and tax residency generally starts after 183 days in a calendar year. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) does not currently advise against travel to Japan.
