Romania Visa & Tax Information

Romania is a country in southeastern Europe with Bucharest as its capital, known for the Carpathian Mountains and the painted monasteries of Bukovina. Romania offers a dedicated digital nomad visa for remote workers, and tax residency generally starts after 183 days in a calendar year. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) does not currently advise against travel to Romania.
