Uruguay Visa & Tax Information

Uruguay is a country in southern South America with Montevideo as its capital, known for Punta del Este beaches, candombe and mate. Uruguay offers a dedicated digital nomad visa for remote workers, and tax residency generally starts after 183 days in a calendar year. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) does not currently advise against travel to Uruguay.
